Unbelievable - 13-foot Burmese python explodes after eating 6-foot alligator in a War of the Swamp Monsters, or something like that.In a completely unexpected turn of events, I had an article published in the latest edition of The Independent Monthly. Unexpected because I didn't like what I'd written; I didn't think it made sense, but submitted it anyway. Nonetheless, I'll link it for you here as a web page. It's simply a print story based on the Helen Ester radio broadcast I put up a week or two ago.
UPDATE: Crap, quick alteration of that web file since it had Helen Ester's contact details on it!
Also looking at my web stats and had my highest day on September 7 (50 visiters), which is strange because what I posted that day, a couple of reminders that I'm getting married, you would think the internet community at large would not have found particularly exciting, or been searching for. And since we're talking about stats, the earley edition passed 5,000 visitors a few days ago, no thanks to the journalists-in-residence. Congratulations must however be extended to the production team and management who have done us exceedingly proud.
Now going offline, and upstairs into the air-con on this 36o (around 98oF?) day.
