I'm really beginning to wonder why America is the bastion of 'democracy'. Luckily I received America (THE BOOK): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction today. Perhaps this will give me some insights - and at the same time provide me with amusement. Judging by first four pages, amusement likely, education as yet not. Although, like I said, it's only the first four pages:
